My name is Farhan Ahsan,I am web enthusiast, writer and blogger. I always strive to be passionate about my work. I started my work at the beginning of 2007 by engaging myself with detail reading and exchanging information with others. Since then things and times have changed, but one thing remains the same and that is my passion for helping and educating people, building a successful blog and delivering quality content to the readers. I always love to write about gardening, sustainable life, off grid living and homestead farming.
Also, sheds are usually made of wood. But you can change that too if you have a more elaborate plan for your garden shed. This is a particularly imposing shed with cedar-shake siding and shingles and a brick exterior, mortared stone steps and a large door with matching windows. It’s a beautiful getaway and you don’t even have to go far to reach it.

If wet weather is forecast, cover the concrete with polythene for 24-hours. In warm weather, cover the base with damp sacks and sprinkle them with water over the 24-hour period, this will ensure the drying concrete will not shrink and crack. The result will be a smooth, sound and level base. The perfect foundation for the construction of a garden shed.
Concrete starts to harden and set about two hours after it has been mixed, so it must be laid, tamped (packed down) and given its finish within that time. Divide large areas into bays or sections which can be completed one at a time before they begin to set. You can walk on the concrete after three days and remove the formwork after five days (but as always, check any product instructions for the mix you are using as there are rapid-setting options available).
